Remember when we almost lost the world?
Our pretty planet nearly got destroyed
when greed and hate were so freely unfurled
It seemed a fate that we could not avoid
We could not fight the greedy tyrant's reign
survival held us firm and kept us blind
we labored round the endless wheel of pain
our spirits crushed beneath the daily grind
But there were those who feared the fading light
who woke us all from slumber in our graves
they called us all to take a stand and fight
better for us to die than live as slaves
And now we sow new hope for better things
We fertilize those dreams with blood of kings
