There is enough for everyone
to dress exquisitely
and fare like kings on finest things
feasting sumptuously
The housing, too would be a dream
we'd rest so peacefully
If ever this, our sick old world,
achieved equality
All theft, and crime, and every war
would be a memory
Each child born would chase their dreams
and bless humanity
And there would be true peace on earth
for all, eternally
If ever this, our sick old world,
achieved equality
Alas, the kings who think that they
deserve all luxury
They hoard the wealth and work the rest
in endless slavery
They locked the doors behind themselves
and threw away the key
That never shall our sick old world
achieve equality
We must teach the human race
a new morality:
Those selfish kings no more deserve
good things than you and me
We must rise up, unite, and fight
as one, courageously
For only then will our sick world
achieve equality
