When enemies close in from every side
and each new struggle takes a bitter toll
sometimes you fail, despite how hard you tried
and it's those losses that can crush your soul
then one last time, the enemies advance
with plans to take you out once and for all
they see your weakened state as their best chance
to strike the killing blow and make you fall
But when you thought the last of your hope gone
your failure taps an undiscovered might
If you can find the will to battle on
You have the strength to get back up and fight
   When nothing goes the way you hoped or planned
