Sure, I could say "I love you" constantly
cram all you mean to me into a verb
That's not the kind of man I want to be
Life's sweetest gift is more than just a blurb
Through countless strife and struggles, I've been here
But you still think I'll break your heart someday
I've stayed with you through every single tear
If you still doubt my love, what's left to say?
The Lord above has never said a word
Yet you believe His love for you is true
His deep devotion's always been inferred
If only you had faith in my heart, too
You can take for granted what is known
I shouldn't have to say it when it's shown
