As evil men tear this whole world down
Who's left to raise a lone defiant fist?
We're overwhelmed, and feel like we'll drown
Who's got the strength to rise up and resist?
This life is hard enough without their schemes
But if we quit, we let the darkness win
We cannot let their evil kill our dreams
We must find strength, but where do we begin?
We look into our children's shining eyes
and in the dark, we see a spark of light
Then soon that glow turns into full sunrise
and it renews our strength to stand and fight
With faith and love, we'll find a way to cope
We've only got to hold our one small hope
